If, like me, you grew up in the 80s, you'll remember Wham when George Michael was straight, girls just wanted to have fun and neon was all the rage. Well guess what, kiddos? It's back!!! Neon, that is. It's made a strong comeback and I'm loving it. I'm not saying you should lose your mind and paint your entire house fluoro. But I do like neon as a pop of colour. And it's not just for kids' rooms or the young and fun at heart. It can look great in pretty much any setting, if done correctly. Yes, even in sensible homes. There's an increasing range of home accessories available in neon and my advice is to give it a go. Try a cushion or a bit of neon trim on a throw to start with. And for those of you that are a little more daring, a neon pendant would be a fairly fabulous choice! More inspiration below.
