I'm mad crushing all things Moroccan at the moment. The deliciously moorish richness it offers is pretty hard to beat. And it's right on trend. Freedom has an inexpensive version of a white and diamond Beni Ouarain-inspired rug and Ikea has a great selection of Turkish/Moroccan rugs and runners. Getting your hands on the real deal is beyond words! But you don't have to spend the earth or go colour mad to achieve an enviable Arabesque look. Re-tiling your kitchen or bathroom in THOSE tiles would be phenomenal, but a simple nod to Morocco is just as lovely. Consider a Moroccan wedding blanket on your bed or a leather pouffe in your living area with a low lying raw timber coffee table and lots of cushions. Combine a few key pieces to achieve a more subtle look that you won't tire of quickly.
