WHITE BATHROOMS WITH A TWIST

Trend alert - sterile white bathrooms are out! And I'm glad for it. I'm not a fan of stark white, shiny rectangular tiles paired with shiny chrome tap ware. Don't get me wrong, I love white bathrooms. But they need to have soul. If you choose to go all white, use different textures to make the space interesting. Perhaps incorporate a little stone or timber for an organic finish. Stark white can look clinical and I think many people use it because they just don't know what else to do. Deciding on a white bathroom doesn't mean EVERYTHING has to be white. You can still achieve a clean "white" look by adding subtle layers or pops of soft greys, blonde timber and creamier whites. But if you decide to use all white on your walls, basin and tub, think about using matte black or bronze/copper tap ware instead of silver/chrome. You'll get a lot more oohs and aahs. Promise.
