EMERALD GEMS

We are fast approaching the end of the year when we'll find out what the Pantone colour of 2015 will be. We know that 2014 is the year of Radiant Orchid (see previous post on this), but I just can't let go of Pantone Colour for 2013,  Emerald. It's such a vibrant, lush and energetic shade of green that packs a punch and certainly makes a statement. If it were on a school bus, it would sit right at the back. It's that cool! If you're going to have a pop of colour in your home, Emerald is definitely worth serious consideration.

ABIGAIL AHERN PAINT RANGE

Super excited that UK designer Abigail Ahern has released a new line of deliciously moody paint colours. She's a rock star in my eyes and I can't get enough of her gorgeous home, which is featured in these shots. She has a kick-arse aesthetic that is not for the feint hearted, which is why I love it. The colours are dirty yet warming at the same time. I'm on a frantic search to see if she has a stockist in Australia. If not, I may very well need to get myself on a jet plane to London ...
